I was so tired not to mention sleepy the entire day. i had a meeting in ortigas in the afternoon on the philippine-australian cooperation in the capacity-building of filipino state workers. It was just a short meeting but the task that has to be done on my end in relation to what we have discussed in the meeting seemed impossible to finish in just 5 days, considering i have loads of work to do, which includes organizing a national convention in the same period of time. oh well...

Heard Nirvana's "All Apologies" on my way home. Am not exactly a big Nirvana fan, but hearing that song after so many years reminded me of my life in the university. Yep, it was that long ago. I was just starting college then. Then i began to miss school. I miss the campus --- UP (Diliman), where i spent my so-called 'wonder years'. It was that time where i learned so much. Not just about math or literature or sciences or the arts. Although i got a good dose of those stuff. But more importantly, i learned a lot about life, about people, about respect and tolerance, about equality, about being politically-correct, and the list goes on... and of course, lest i forget, i learned a lot about love... (ehem!.. mushy) and i'm not even going into the details of it. (: In restrospect, school is a lot easier to handle than work. At least in school you only need to worry about exams and terror teachers. If you study well, then you need not worry about anything at all. Plus, you have the luxury of time and allowance. But at work, the number of zeros on your paycheck is directly proportional to your accountability. And even if you work your butt off 24/7, still it does not decrease the probability of getting a BS and/or an SOB from your boss. I wish i could go back to school. It's amazing how one song can trigger all the memories. Somehow it felt good. ^_^
